Abandoned 62 year old finds
Rose Gonza is a 62 year old widow who was abandoned by her in-laws after shelost herhusband. She lives with two grandchildren (one) epileptic and dumb on a small pieceofland in Kitantalo-Tirinyi Kiubuku District.
During one of the ministry engagements, the leadership identified the vulnerable old woman looking helpless and poverty stricken seated with children under a tree in her home. The old woman shared that she bore one son who also disappeared one day from home leaving her with his two children “My only son left me suffering with these children of whom one is epileptic and keeps disturbing me. We struggle to eat everyday and sometimes sleep hungry.” The old woman shared.
It is upon this that the ministry decided to enroll Vicent Wabala, an 8 year old dumb and epileptic child to the children’s ministry in Agape Pentecostal Fellowship Church-Tirinyi.
To date, the ministry supports Vicent with scholastic materials, medical treatment and school fees. He also received two goats to boost the family’s financial status.
